About Us
We aim to provide our clients with the assistance they need to manage life’s ups and downs as they make their way through the challenges and circumstances we all experience. We want to help our clients to achieve psychological wellbeing, maintain healthy relationships and lead fulfilling, productive lives.
We use a non-judgemental, compassionate and client centred approach to provide confidential counselling (see question) regardless of gender, religion, race, cultural heritage, sexual orientation or economic circumstance.
We use a range of counselling modalities including strengths-based counselling, brief interventions, motivational interviewing, solutions focussed counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy. It is important to note that modalities are not used in a rigid way and will only be applied when appropriate to support achieving the objectives of the client.
Our counsellors are tertiary qualified in counselling, are members of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), are required to comply with the PACFA Code of Ethics and carry the required level of public liability.
